We’re so glad you’ve chosen to live at our community. In this guide, you will find everything you need to get settled in your new place.

What to Bring
One of the greatest things about living at McNeese Student Housing is its furniture packages. Here is a list of what is included and suggestions for essentials you should bring.
Courtyard Suites, Burton & Collette
What is included: Twin-XL bed, desk & chair, dresser, and blinds for the bedroom windows. Common areas will include a sofa, chair, console table, and a coffee table.
What to bring: Bedding (Comforter/ Sheets/ Pillows/ Mattress Protector/ Mattress Topper), Towels, Laundry Supplies, Laundry Bag/Basket, Smart TV, Mini-Refrigerator no bigger than 4 cubic feet, Microwave (ONE per unit in Suites/None in Collette), Plastic or Paper Plates / Spoons/ Forks, Under bed storage containers, shower caddy, etc.
Apartments only
What is included: Full-size bed, desk & chair, dresser, refrigerator, dishwasher, garbage disposal, full size washer and dryer, oven/stove, ceiling fan in each bedroom, and blinds for the bedroom windows.
What to bring: Pots and pans, cooking utensils, small appliances (toaster, blenders, etc.), cups, silverware, plates, dish soap, trash bin, television, full-size bedding, lamps, shower curtain, toiletries, cleaning supplies, vacuum, etc.
Personal items such as linens, shower curtains, cookware, dishes, garbage bins, etc. are not provided. We suggest that you contact your roommates prior to move-in to determine what each person will bring for the common areas.
All Residents
Don’t forget cleaning supplies! Wipes/rags, trash can with liners, broom & dustpan or small vacuum.
Parking
We have a first-come, first-served parking policy; therefore, we do not have assigned parking. You can purchase your McNeese Parking Pass through the banner self-service portal or the cashier’s office.
Internet, Water, & Electricity
At MSU Housing, we have your back! Internet, Water & Electric are included in your semester housing charge.
